FINGERPRINTING SERVICE PROVIDED BY ANDERSON COUNTY NOTARY
Anderson County Notary offers Fingerprinting service 7 days a week by appointment. Fingerprints are captured on paper with ink. This method is still prefered by the major Federal Agencies, Law Enforcement and for background investigations.your fingerprints are captured on the FBI FD-258 form. The FD-258 form is printed on sturdy card stock and included in the service. We also include the Notarization which indicates that we have validated your identity and that the fingerprints are authentic.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
- A Valid government issued photo ID such as a drivers license, state identification or passport. (expired identification is NOT acceptable for fingerprinting service.)
- A FD-258 card (provided by Anderson County Notary)
- Form required by your sponsor (optional)
- Payment (we ONLY accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover & PayPal*)
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE
Fingerprinting is available 7 days a week (24 hour service available) by appointment. We schedule 30 minutes per session, but frequently finish in 15 minutes. This allows for a demonstration on how to roll your finger, practice and then the actual fingerprinting.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
The cost for one set of fingerprints on the provided FD-258 card with a Notary Stamp is $25.00 per card. Normally one card is required, however, some Federal and Law Enforcement Agencies require multiple cards. In the case of multiple cards, the cost is $25.00 per card. *Please Note that there are additional charges for after hours service, travel charges, if the card needs to be redone, etc.
